The Playbooks

How to build recognition, step by step.

The frameworks explain what recognition is. The playbooks explain what to actually do about it this week, with nothing but your own site and a browser. Each one is a real, doable process, not a teaser for a sales call.

In one paragraph

Aingworth playbooks are step-by-step guides for building AI recognition yourself. Each one takes a single piece of the Authority Method, such as reading your own Recognition Triangle or closing one Earned Authority gap, and turns it into a short, doable process anyone can run without booking anything. They are directional, not scored: the full, benchmarked picture is what the free Recognition Diagnostic and the paid Recognition Snapshot deliver.

A playbook is the work made legible, not the work done for you.

We publish the definitions of our frameworks freely, and we publish the steps to apply them freely too, because a step-by-step process is not the same thing as the scoring behind it. What you get here is a real, useful, honest direction: which condition to check first, what to look for, and what to do with what you find.

What you will not get here is a benchmark against your category, a numeric score, or the templates we use in client engagements. That line is deliberate. It is what lets us give away the method and still have a business.

Run One Yourself

One playbook, published properly, beats five thin ones.

We add a new playbook when it is ready, not on a content calendar. Here is what exists now, and what is next.

Where This Sits

Playbooks are the middle step, not the whole method.

Definition, then direction, then a scored, benchmarked, and built result. Each step is more work than the one before it, and each is honest about what it is.

Common Questions

Questions people ask about the playbooks.

What is an Aingworth playbook?
A doable-yourself, step-by-step process for one specific piece of recognition work, such as reading your own Recognition Triangle or closing a single Earned Authority gap. It gives real, usable steps, not a teaser, but it stops short of the scoring, benchmarking, and asset templates delivered in the Recognition Diagnostic and the Recognition Snapshot.
How is a playbook different from a framework?
A framework page defines a concept, such as the Recognition Triangle or Earned Authority: what it is and why it matters. A playbook tells you what to actually do about it this week, the steps, in order, that you can run yourself.
Do I need to run the diagnostic before using a playbook?
No. The playbooks are designed to be run first, with nothing but your own site and a browser. The free Recognition Diagnostic and the paid Recognition Snapshot come after, when you want a scored, benchmarked read instead of a directional one.
Will more playbooks be added?
Yes. Aingworth publishes one playbook at a time rather than a long list of thin ones. The topics already planned are listed above as they are written.
