For South African Businesses

Everyone has ChatGPT.
Almost nobody is using it properly.

You opened it months ago. Maybe your whole team has it too. But it's still rewriting the odd email while the real work stays manual. This programme closes that gap: practical AI implementation, in plain language, in English or Afrikaans, built around how your business actually runs.

In one paragraph

Aingworth's AI Business Implementation Programme helps South African business owners, from one-person firms to teams, make AI a real part of their daily work, not just a toy that rewrites the odd email. Personal training in English or Afrikaans, led by Lucy Aingworth, the South African author of Become the Answer (2026).

The Reality

Opening ChatGPT isn't using it. And the difference is costing you hours every week.

Business owners are opening ChatGPT every day. They ask it to rewrite an email. They ask it to write a social media caption. They ask it a question the same way they would Google. Then they close it and go back to doing everything manually.

The problem isn't access anymore. It's that nobody has shown them how to make it part of the way their business actually works.

That's where I come in.

I don't teach people how to "use ChatGPT." I teach businesses how to use Large Language Models like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Kimi to reduce admin, improve workflows, build better systems and save hours every single week.

Whether you're a business owner working on your own or leading a team of fifty, the principles are exactly the same.

70%

Seven in ten South African adults have already used an AI chatbot, up 25 points since 2023 and ahead of many developed markets. Access is not the problem.

Google x Ipsos, Our Life with AI, 2026

63%

63% of South Africans say they want to use AI more but lack the confidence or skills to do it effectively. That gap is exactly what this programme closes.

Google x Ipsos, Our Life with AI, 2026

2 in 3

More than two thirds of South African small businesses already use AI daily or are actively experimenting. Almost all of that usage stays shallow: the odd email, the odd caption.

News24 x Lula Small Business Survey, Jan 2026

22%

Only 22% of South African organisations offer any structured AI training. Everyone else is figuring it out alone, in stolen minutes between real work.

What You'll Learn

This isn't a presentation about artificial intelligence. It's practical training built around your business.

Every session works on your actual business: your quotes, your client emails, your admin, your marketing. Together we'll cover:

01

The difference between ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Kimi and other LLMs, and when to use each one.

02

Why prompting matters (and why treating AI like Google gives poor results).

03

Building prompts that produce consistently useful answers, not one-off luck.

04

Creating repeatable workflows your business runs every week: quoting, follow-ups, reporting.

05

Using AI to reduce repetitive admin, so the hours come back to the work that earns money.

06

Applying it across marketing, sales, customer service and documentation.

07

Creating SOPs and internal knowledge bases your whole team can use.

08

Automating repetitive thinking, not just repetitive clicking.

09

Understanding where AI should never replace human judgement.

Real business examples No theory No technical jargon No coding

We go as deep as your business needs. Complex, fully-built automations across multiple systems can become their own project — we'll scope that separately if it comes up.

The Programme

One programme. Built for implementation.

This is not a workshop you attend once and forget. It's implementation: month by month, we build AI into the way your business runs until it sticks.

In month one we build your first working workflows. In month two you apply them and we fix what breaks. By month three, they're simply how your business operates. That's why there is a three-month minimum: anything shorter is a presentation, not a change.

The sessions are one-to-one with you, the owner, so the training stays focused and moves at your pace. And everything built during the programme stays yours: the workflows, the prompt library, the playbook, all designed to roll out across your team. It keeps working whether you continue or not.

Why Learn From Lucy

Local enough to understand your business. International enough to change it.

I grew up in South Africa. I was raised in an Afrikaans home and educated in English, which means I understand how South African businesses actually work, and I can train you in whichever language you think in.

Over the last decade I've worked with companies across the United States, United Kingdom, Europe and Australia, helping businesses improve their digital strategy, systems and online visibility. In 2026 I published Become the Answer, a book about how businesses build authority in the age of AI.

Now I'm bringing those same international lessons home. Because South African businesses deserve access to the same practical AI systems that companies overseas are already paying premium rates for. No Silicon Valley buzzwords. No unrealistic promises. Just practical systems that help businesses work smarter.

For media, event and podcast bookings: Lucy speaks, trains and gives interviews in Afrikaans or English, on practical AI for business, AI search and brand authority. Afrikaans radio, podcasts and publications welcome.

Common Questions

Questions business owners ask.

Is the AI training available in Afrikaans?
Yes. Every session is delivered in English or Afrikaans, whichever you prefer. The content, workflows and playbook are identical in both languages. Lucy Aingworth is fully bilingual and also gives talks and media interviews in Afrikaans.
What does the programme cost?
R5,500 per month with a minimum three-month commitment. That includes one private one-to-one session per month with you as the business owner (online or in person), personalised AI workflows built around your business, a prompt library, a custom AI Playbook, and email and WhatsApp support between sessions. Travel outside Gauteng is billed at cost. Corporate keynotes and workshops are a separate engagement, priced on the services page.
Why is there a three-month minimum?
Because a once-off workshop does not change how a business runs. In month one we build your first working workflows. In month two you apply them and we fix what breaks. In month three they become the way your business operates. Anything shorter is a presentation, not implementation.
My business is just me. Is this still worth it?
Especially then. When you are the whole business, every hour you spend on admin is an hour not spent earning. One-person businesses usually see the fastest return, because there is nobody to delegate to and the time comes straight back to you.
Do I need to be technical?
No. There is no coding, no jargon and no theory about robots. If you can type a WhatsApp message, you can do everything in this programme. Everything is demonstrated using real examples from your own business.
Which AI tools does the programme cover?
ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Kimi and other Large Language Models: what each one is good at, when to use which, and how to build repeatable workflows with them. The principles are tool-agnostic, so what you learn survives the next round of new releases.
What is the AI Playbook?
A custom written guide to your business's AI systems that grows with every session: the prompts, the workflows, the SOPs, applied to your business specifically. It is written so a team member who missed a session can still follow it, and it stays yours after the programme ends.
Are sessions in person or online?
Either. Sessions run online or in person anywhere in South Africa, whichever works for your business. Travel outside Gauteng is billed at cost.
What happens after three months?
You choose. Many businesses continue month to month as new processes get systemised. Others stop, and everything built during the programme, the workflows, the prompt library and the playbook, stays theirs and keeps working. No lock-in either way.
Can my whole team use this?
The monthly sessions are one-to-one with you as the business owner, so the training stays focused and moves at your pace. But everything built is designed to roll out to your team: the prompt library and the AI Playbook are written so anyone on staff can follow and use them. If you'd rather have your team trained directly in the sessions, that's a separate team engagement, priced on scope — just ask and we'll quote it.
