Community Authority

The Earned Authority layer built from forums, reviews, and practitioner discussion.

Aingworth Concept

Full explanation

Community Authority is the Earned Authority layer built from community sources: forums, reviews, and social or practitioner discussion. When structural, expert, and community authority are all present and aligned, Earned Authority is recognized.

Why this matters

Community sources are where unfiltered opinion lives, and AI systems draw on them heavily. A brand respected by analysts but absent from practitioner conversation has an incomplete authority profile.

Where this sits

Community Authority belongs to Recognition & Authority, one of the seven layers of the Aingworth Glossary. What Aingworth believes. Recognition is the outcome; authority is the evidence that makes it possible. These are the terms that belong to Aingworth, most of them first set out in Become the Answer.
