Recognition Patterns
The six diagnostic outcomes, from Promising Claim to Recognized Authority.
Aingworth Concept
Full explanation
The Recognition Patterns are the six outcomes of the Recognition Diagnostic: Promising Claim, Hidden Expert, Validated Generalist, Strong Foundation, Recognized Authority, and Decaying Authority. Each describes a different balance of strength and weakness across the three conditions of the Recognition Triangle.
Why this matters
Patterns are more useful than scores. Knowing a brand is a Hidden Expert says exactly what to do next in a way a number never could.
Where this sits
Recognition Patterns belongs to Recognition & Authority, one of the seven layers of the Aingworth Glossary. What Aingworth believes. Recognition is the outcome; authority is the evidence that makes it possible. These are the terms that belong to Aingworth, most of them first set out in Become the Answer.
